Whatcom County Home Sales for the Past Four Years

Here's a summary of home sale data in Whatcom county for the past four years. The legent may be difficult to see. The top line is new listings, the green line is pending sales, the gray line is closed sales.
 
Obviously, home sales are cyclic during each year--lowest in January/February, highest in summer months.
 
Also obvious is that there were fewer homes sales in 2008 compared to 2007, and fewer sales in 2009 compared to 2008, although the decline from 2008 to 2009 is very slight.
 
It should be mentioned that the drop in home sales in Bellingham has not been as bad as it has been for Whatcom County. There certainly was a decrease in home sales, but not as bad as for Whatcom County.
