This graph shows homes sales in Bellingham for all of 2008, and 2009 through September. Notice that through May, home sales in 2008 were ahead of sales in 2009. But since June, homes sales in 2009 are exceeding those of 2008. The second half of 2008 was when sales of homes slowed dramatically, as seen in the graph. In contrast, during the second half of 2009, home sales are exceeding sales in 2008 for the same period. Expectations are that this trend will continue through the end of 2009, and into 2010. We'll see as the data is collected.
