This is a picture of Mt Shuksan from the Chain Lakes Trail around Table Mountain. The trail is a loop that begins at Artist Point and ends at the lower parking lot below Artist Point. (Or start at the lower lot and end at Artist Point) There are numerous views along the trail like this picture. In fact, we became conscious of repeatedly saying how beautiful each view is. Words really can't describe the beauty. There also are beautiful views of lakes and rock fields. The hike is relatively easy, about 5 miles. Not far out on the trail from Artist Point, we saw mountain goats across the valley. Once again, the weather was perfect--slightly cool, but a warm sun.
