What a beautiful hike. On Wednesday (7/22), we hiked to Canyon RIdge. Not a very difficult hike partly because of the 15 mile drive on logging roads to get to the trail head.
About an hour and a half hike to get to the top. Wild flowers in abundance. Only traces of snow and none on the trail. Lunch on top--picture to left (look carefully and you should be able to see us top center). At the top, we are less than a mile from Canada. We could see the valley (probably Chiliwack) below. Some annoying flies and mosquitoes, but not bad. The views from the top are grand--almost 360 degrees--Mt Baker, and many other peaks in the US and Canada.
